Frequently asked questions
How do you ensure consistent product quality across batches?
At Simple Food Solutions, consistency is a top priority. We follow strict food safety protocols, including FSSC22000-certified processes. Every batch undergoes rigorous quality checks, such as pH, salinity, and viscosity testing, to ensure it meets our clients’ standards. Additionally, we document and standardize every recipe to maintain uniformity across all production runs.
How long does it take to onboard a new client and start production?
The onboarding process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the complexity of your requirements. This includes recipe development, trial runs, and finalizing production parameters. For clients with pre-developed recipes, the process may be faster. We work closely with you to streamline the timeline without compromising quality.
Do you offer customizable products or strictly standardized items?
We offer full customization to meet your brand’s unique needs. Our R&D chefs collaborate with you to develop products tailored to your specific requirements. Whether it’s adjusting flavor profiles or creating completely new SKUs, we ensure the end product aligns perfectly with your vision.
How do you handle customer complaints or issues with production?
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If there’s ever an issue with a batch, we investigate immediately and resolve it promptly. This may include offering a replacement batch at no additional cost. Our dedicated consultants are always available to address concerns and ensure your operations run smoothly.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ is typically $200 per order, but this may vary depending on the product and production requirements. We’re happy to discuss options tailored to your business needs.
Can you handle Halal-certified products?
Yes, our facility is Halal-certified, and we strictly adhere to Halal guidelines throughout our production process to meet the dietary requirements of our clients and their customers.
How do you ensure recipe confidentiality?
We sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with all our clients to protect their recipes. Additionally, access to your recipe is limited to a small number of our trusted operations staff, minimizing the risk of information leaks.
Do you assist with packaging design and labeling?
Yes, we can assist with packaging and labeling. While our primary focus is production, we work with trusted partners or collaborate with your team to ensure your products are packaged attractively and compliant with regulatory standards.
How long can products be stored once delivered?
The shelf life of our products varies depending on the item, but most of our ready-to-eat (RTE) and frozen products have a shelf life of 6–12 months when stored properly.
Can you produce seasonal or limited-time offerings (LTOs)?
Yes, we specialize in developing seasonal or limited-time products. Our R&D team works with you to create LTOs that align with trends, festive occasions, or promotional campaigns to keep your menu fresh and engaging.
What industries or types of businesses do you typically work with?
We work with a wide range of clients, including restaurants, cafes, kiosks, food courts, hotels, and FMCG brands. Whether you’re a single outlet or a large chain, we can tailor our services to your needs.
Do you handle logistics and delivery?
Yes, we have a dedicated delivery fleet that ensures timely and safe delivery of your products. Our typical delivery schedule is three times per week, but we can adjust this based on your requirements.
What happens if there’s a sudden spike in demand for my product?
We plan for flexibility by offering 3–4 weeks of stock storage in our facility. This ensures your outlets won’t face sudden shortages during high-demand periods. Our scalable production capabilities also allow us to adjust output quickly to meet your needs.
